When buying through us you confirm that you have seen and approved our terms and conditions of sale. By clicking on the buy on-line link, you accept this agreement under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (UK).

Validity

This agreement is valid until further notice between the EU consumer (you) and the manufacturer (Camiceria di Como).

Prices

Prices are inclusive of VAT. In case of changes in the VAT, we retain the right to change our prices accordingly. As a Camiceria di Como customer, you will not incur any extra charges except those specified in the total amount of your shopping basket. The shirts are always sent duty free within the EU.

Cookies and Security

No cookies letting third-party users make use of your account, or trace your personal internet activities on the Camiceria di Como website. Third party cookies are only being used to create statistics about the usage of our site excluding any personal information. Cookies are only needed to remember the goods in your shopping cart. All bank transactions are encrypted.

Delivery

Your shirt is a work of craftsmanship, exclusive and tailor-made for you. The time of production is approximately 3 working weeks, with an additional 3 days for DHL delivery to any destination and 4-5 days for air mail delivery. In certain circumstances, such as when fabric has run out, the dispatch time may increase by a couple of days. We always do our best to maintain the 3 weeks schedule and deliver our goods to your door as swiftly as possible.

The exclusive shirts of The Shirt shop of Como are entrusted to expert and reliable transport agencies who effect delivery during normal office working hours. We therefore request that you indicate an address at which you will be available at those hours. The merchandise is suitably packed and insured against damage, loss or theft during transport. In case of damage or tampering, the customer must refuse acceptance of the merchandise.

Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000

According to the UK consumer protection laws regarding remote agreements and home sale agreements, you as a consumer have the right to reject your goods purchased from us within 7 days from delivery. If you ordered goods that have been customized to your preferences, for example a tailor made shirt, the right to rejection is forfeited. The right of refusal only applies if the goods are returned in an unaltered state. You have the right to terminate the agreement by sending a message to Camiceria di Como within 14 days from the day of your purchase or within seven working days from the day of the agreement. This right does not apply for custom made goods like tailor made shirts as these are produced to meet your specifications and your needs. Please note that the process of making your shirt starts just hours after placing your order and production costs are involved. Any attempt to abuse our services will be prosecuted to the maximum extent possible under applicable law.

Tolerances

Camiceria di Como's shirts are always made to the measurements given by you. If you choose body measurements, the measurements of the shirt are adjusted according to the fit selected by you (slim, normal or loose fit). If you choose the shirt measurements option, the measurements of your new shirt should be the same as on the original shirt, however, we can not guarantee that the seams and the design will be identical to the original shirt. Please note that sometimes there is an adjustment of /- 1/2 inches made. We can not guarantee that your shirt made to the measurements from our size chart will have a perfect fit. That is why we always recommend you use your personal measurements instead. We always improve the quality of our products and introduce new designs to our shirts and website. That is the reason why sometimes two shirts can differ a little, especially if they were ordered at different times. Shirts made from different rolls of fabric may differ slightly in shade due to normal variations in the dyeing process. If any other problems occur, we will do our best to solve them as soon as possible as we value our customers’ opinion.

Warranty

If the measurements or design of the shirt you ordered does not correspond with given your measurements for reasons other than mentioned above, we will offer you a new shirt free of charge or your money back. Camiceria di Como takes responsibility for the cost of return shipments only after you have agreed this with you and under the condition that you return the shirt in the same box as it was delivered in and send with the cheapest possible shipping method. As our customer, you are responsible for the given measurements.

Service

Our ambition is to keep the best level of customer services. In order to maintain our overhead costs at a minimum so that we can offer you value for money products we would prefer you to contact us by email or Skype. Thought to ensure the best buying experience for our customers you have the choice to call us or, on request and if possible, to meet one of our representative face to face.

Personal information

Camiceria di Como is responsible for the integrity of the personal information given by our customers. Your personal information is only used for internal purposes and neither your personal details nor your e-mail address will be given to third parties.

Force Majeure

In case of force majeure the agreement can either be considered as judicially cancelled with neither customer nor Camiceria di Como being entitled to any compensation or the delivery time(s) can be extended with the currency of the force majeure. Camiceria di Como considers force majeure as: war, mobilization, terror acts, blockade stagnation of work, transport obstructions, measures of commercial policy, new or amended legislation, strikes, the non-delivery or non due deliveries of the goods by suppliers to Camiceria di Como, natural catastrophes and any circumstances, events and circumstances that are beyond our control.
